Want2beclean, I connect with you so much! Congratulations in moving from survivor to living your life.

As a parent myself I can not imagine how one can say the things you endured as a child and as an adult. Parents are supposed to be nurturers! There are so many elements of NPD that I find so hard to grasp. They say they love you, then slap you in the face figuritively. I think these discussions help me, but honestly, I just don't get it. I am always asking why. Even though it has been explained to me that they have no compassion for the victims I don't understand how they can not. I guess because I only have one brother and sister left family is so very important to me. Sometimes I think having a bad sister is even better than not having one at all. Having said that, I know I am going to sound contradictive but I have made advancements too in connection with her and I am almost ready to start living my life to.

Continue to be strong and do well. I am encouraged by your story.
