I believe your approach is balanced, Wombat.

It would be wise to intuit what we all need on an individual basis yet be mindful of the recommended dosages.

I attempted the IF (iodine flush) a coupla days ago and succeeded in downing 48mg. in 4 hours. The results were noteworthy in that I had to stop the flush midway in lieu of the detoxing results.

I've slowed the Iodine intake considerably to 12mg. (2 drops) every 4 hours t'day. So far, the body is handling the intake without undue trauma via accelerated detoxing symptoms. IMO, accelerated detox is more of a stress on the eliminative organs than they may be prepared to handle.

Slow and steady, wins the race...at least for me!
