well I really didnt come up with the protocol,..I just took what steven fowkes(co author of ''wipe out herpes with bht'') suggested and added some other things to increase effectivness....I have lately added 8 oz. of Colloidal Silver daily and noticed even better results.

when you strip away the lipid coat from the virus as bht does,..its up to the immune system to notice the virus and destroy it,...however some of us may have a lazy immune system due to inactivity or lack of nutrients.
thats where Colloidal Silver comes in,...its known as the second immune system and deactivates the virus instantly and can also enter cells where the virus is hiding out.

im taking 2 grams of bht daily in 2 doses and have no ill effects whatsoever,...I may try 3 grams to see if it works better,..but 2 grams seems to be doing good.

1 gram worked but on days where I had little sleep,stress or ate trigger foods it seemed like the virus was able to overpower.

I think 1 gram daily may be sufficient for anyone under 175lbs.
