canola = oilseed rape toxic erucic acid content

FDA raised the standard and only allows 0.5% max erucic content

but it is cumulative neurotoxin

like mercury

it adds up over time

until the brain goes

goo goo goo, ga ga ga

good for spraying on garden
as insecticide, well-known
in this use for long time

also good lubricant useful
as cutting fluid to keep
drills cool

and carrier for sulfurized olefins
used in hi pressure lube additives

good hi temperature decomp resistance
