Well nobody has answered your questions yet, and I am sorry I cannot either.

I can only ask the same question - do I have diverticulitis?
My bowel problems and abdominal pains have been called Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and supected Chrones, but nobody is saying for sure. My doc is not much help.

I get bloated up and have pains, and I can FEEL the gas [or liquids?] moving thru my intestines - it is CREEPY. I feel it moving on the right side, then up the ascending colon, and suddenly I fart! [missing the transverse and descending colon it seems].

Drinking coffee will help get those gas-travelers moving, and it allways feels really good when they move. It also helps to have a BM, but it is not as if I am constipated, having one two or three large movements every day.

There is also a kind of anxeity that goes with it, maybe just from pain but it seems different than that. No other reason for anxiety, it just seems to come from the bloating. Do you get that too dear?
