I wonder if distilled water is cooled before bottling. The heat would leach more chemicals from the plastic than regular cold spring water.

I still see gallon containers of water sold at stores that are made of PVC (recycling code 3 or V), which leaches vinyl chloride.

Like someone said earlier, I try not to dwell on this stuff. Nothing out there is pure and it never was. Still I try to keep up...
