Since we're each individuals within the human race, it is reasonable to understand that not one particular program is perfect for all individuals. Susan Powter's program made some sort of sense for a while, but it did not work for most people who gave it an honest try. The same goes true with every "new" program. For some, the programs will be successful, and for others, they'll need to try different approaches.

Increased activity, decreased caloric intake, and introduction of raw foods is beneficial to me, particularly given the fact that I have thyroid dysfunction and an autoimmune condition.

That Atkins worked for you is wonderful! It's a glorious day when someone finds a change that is successful for them!
