John: It was our traditional enemies who inflicted "artificial persons" (a/k/a corporations) on our long-suffering world right after they succeeded in taking over the British Empire in 1690.

Why do corporations have "limited liability"? Doesn't a bell go off, inside your skull, when you hear that phrase?

What about "double entry bookkeeping"? You are on the right track, John, but you need to follow through on your own train of thought.

If mercury is dangerous to all humans -- and the evidence is getting overwhelming -- how can there be any such thing as an "acceptable level"? ....
