levels of thyroid hormones are often normal but hg displaces Iodine and interferes with thyroid function. Low body temp is a good indicator of hypothyroid.
When usuing charcoal or any chelator you need to take extra minerals . This sets up an ion exchange gradient displacing hg and allowing it to be removed.
