In my nutritional healing book under hypothyroidism it says :
Keep a thermometer by your bed at night and when you awaken in the morning place the thermometer under your arm ad hold it there for 15 minutes. Keep still and quiet. A temperature of 97.6 F or lower may indicate an underactive thyroid. Keep a temp log for 5 days.
