I have been doing mine differently with good success.
1 tsp Ca(OH)2 lime
1/2 tsp MgSO4 epsom salt
1/4 tsp morton lite (1/2 KCl, 1/2 NaCl)
1 gallon water
dilute 1 or 2 tsp per gallon of water
I use it for drinking and to make tea, etc. Alkalinity is up gradually and conditions are visibly improved.
It should be noted that vitamin D is very important for Calcium absorbtion.
