I read on one site that a person should paint some Iodine on the sole of their foot. If the color was absorbed within 24 hours, that was a sign further supplementation was needed. If the color remains, the the body has sufficient Iodine for its needs. I don't know if its true or not since Iodine seems to stain very easily, but ,its an interesting theory.
