Several of us on this list have had similar experiences... see my posts (also appearing under Johng) and Josie and Jen and a others. food allergies are no doubt a big part of your problem. there is so much you can do to help once the immediate crisis is over. read down through the forum, there is so much information that I could not even begin to post it all. in a nut shell, if your baby is eating something (or geting it through breastmilk) that he is allergic to, it will wreak havoc on his health... eczema, infections ect. you must identify the allergens and avoid them, while working on his health holistically. you can make a huge difference, but you have to think beyond medication...
and on a lighter note, you have come to the right place. there is great advice here. don't let fear dictate what you do. mainstream medicine does not have much to offer you behond symptom control. if you want more, its up to you to seek out help above and beyond that the docs offer. you have many options. my advice to you is avoid vaccinations and any drugs once the crisis has passed. change your diet and your baby's diet as approapriate... as a poster below suggests, you might try glyconutrients, but, make sure your bady does not react to the glucosamine/shellfish that is in some types, find a great homeopathy doc, and finally kinseology/muscle testing can be a great help as long as you find someone with lots of experience. we are just starting brt for my son now, and i'm kicking myself that we didn't start earlier....
