It is my opinion that regardless if the IUD caused your cancer, you should get it removed. I think your Dr. should have removed it right after a diagnosis was made. I didn't think you could get an IUD inserted being so young. As far as other contraception, I think you should just hold off on anything with hormones until your body has time to heal naturally.
