First of all, I have to say that I am not sure what my skin condition could be called, because I have had so many different diagnoses. I have always had super hyper-sensitive skin. My skin problems started around the time I was in 5th or 6th grade. At that time I would get blisters that would pop and spread and leave whole swaths of scabby, runny blistery skin on my back. Somehow that cleared up. Then I had flaky skin, which got really bad around my nose and eyebrows. Then when I was about 20, I started having horrible outbreaks on my hands. Eventually, this got so bad that my skin was not only blisteing and scabbing, but my fingers were cracking open with deep rifts that would bleed and were very painful. My hands looked like I was 100 years old, not in my 20's! I was ashamed to show my hands and didn't even like holding my husband's hands because my hands were so yucky. I tried everything I could prescription and otherwise, for about 7 years and the only thing that ever made me feel even a little better was oatmeal baths (I think this was from Neutrogena, but I can't remember now.) Then someone introduced me to Dr. Mindell's Basic Mindell super multi-vitamin/mineral/herbal formula and MSM formulation. After one month, my psoriasis/dyshydrotic eczema (depending on what diagnosis you want to go with) completely vanished! That worked for several years. Then the finger problem started creeping back about a year or so ago. I have added on Xango mangosteen juice to my regime, and am happy to report that I am currently enjoying lovely skin as is befitting a 36 year old. Please contact me for the exact regimen I followed or if you would like to know where to obtain these products.
Best wishes,
Glynnes*
