Oil pulling seems to work on a lot of things in the mouth/head/face area. I know it has prevented (not just alleviated) headaches that I used to get that were related to cold/sinus/allergy congestion (because it has removed that congestion). And one great thing for me and others, too, I think is that you will see (feel) results in the first few days.

When I stopped drinking I actually got headaches for a while. I think I was probably drinking a great deal more than you were, but even after the 3-4 day "detox" (the amount of time they would keep someone in the hospital to get rid of the shakes, etc.), I had a LOT of thirst, cravings for sweets -- especially chocolate -- and insomnia. (Maybe don't OP at night as it can keep some people up!)

I would also keep up with the liver flush/coffee enema. Activity in the liver/gallbladder area can cause neck/shoulder/back pain. Plus it is just good for you!
