I did the capsules many years ago and was told by others that the odor was just as strong (on my body) as eating it raw. Although I will try what blackngold suggested about chopping the clove(s) and try it that way, otherwise, you are right about the hot. I am not into hot that much. Just working on getting healthy! LOL It is a long road after 'abusing one's self' for so many years!
