I have been told I am an alcoholic but I refuse to accept that. I also do not choose to "test it" either...by having a drink after all this time to Prove I can just have "one".

I believe the mind (now, didn't before) is very powerful. It can either keep us addicted or not, not to argue, just stating my thoughts. I do know that I do not think about alcohol as I did before I stopped though. This is another reason why I refuse the 'title of alcoholic'.

Also, I do understand about getting to the "treating of the symptoms" I have no doubt that is correct. I have resolved most of them. Yet, as I have decided to become healthy, I am not going to start drinking again, to see if I resolved them all :-).
