Sure you can still do this. You could use soy milk...my sister does as she is allergic to milk products (they sell soy ice cream...which you CAN eat on this diet once in awhile...you would replace your milk exchange with 1/2 c of ice cream, approx. the same amount of calories, carbs, and fat).

Also, is it just cow's milk that bothers you? I only ask because animal milk is the best source of calcium and goats milk works wonderfully too. But if you do use the soy it still gives you calcium, my sis just added a calcium supplement to make sure (1000-1200mcgs per day, taken in 2 doses...ya know 500-600mcgs morning and night...your body will not absorb more than 500-600mcgs at a time, so if you take more it's just wasted, that's all) BTW you should make sure you are using the right calorie intake for your size and activity level...the one I posted is 1500 calories....if you are average wieght and height and are at least moderately active, you may need more calories. (2000- 2200 is the average amount of calories)People who are trying to maintain a certain weight ,that struggle with it usually use 1800 calories... 1200-1500 is for losing. Once a person has plateaued you should increase to at least 1800 or more if you have become more active....see what I'm getting at? I know , it's confusing, but just ask me for you individually...I'll help you!!

REALLY feel free to ask me....I do not mind at all!
