Of course.

It's like debating the point that having sex with alligators is not dangerous, because there are no double blind studies to show that it isn't safe. For those who wish to partake in this and other peculiar behaviors, there is no stopping them from engaging in their perverse behaviour, and no citation of references showing how dangerous alligators are is going to change their mind.

Yet, to the reasonable person, evidence abounds that alligators are dangerous; these people generally avoid alligators, and don't need to be taught not to tangle with them.

In the case of mercury, only a fool would deny the mountains of centuries-old evidence showing its neurotoxicity. Believing it becomes safer by admixture with other metals has not only been shown false, such as by cyclic voltammetry and uv-light based detectors, is akin to believing that a 20 gram per liter potassium cyanide solution becomes less toxic by the addition of table salt and Epsom Salts .

toofake has failed to provide any evidence of her point, and common sense and a large body of evidence indicates otherwise. Ask boldyloxx, rokybird, me, or Torrie their firsthand experiences. Nobody can prove that putting mercury in the oral cavity, or putting it in the body anywhere, is safe practice. In my opinion, only a Nazi would knowingly place an Amalgam filling, in view of the evidence.
