I am also having chin breakouts and have been oil pulling for 3-4 weeks. I use a very small amount of alpha-hydroxy acid (found at Walgreens-$7 for a decent sized tub that lasts me forever) and tea tree oil (health food stores, about $8 for a little roll-on tube of it.) That combination (first the acid and then the oil) works pretty well.
