well, there are many posts on the moreless forum of people's dramatic health turn around after ingesting his alkalizing drink, which consists in part of calcium hydroxide. now, its possible these are more the result of the molasses and/or kelp. but i seem to remember at least one or two where they didn't really get dramatic results until they added the CH, then suddenly their health boomed. i attribute this to my "mineral starvation" theory. of course this is all theory, and not based on sceintific studies. but from what i have read and observed this makes sense to me.
