There are many more misunderstandings to be discovered. There are no "contradictions" (God cannot be wrong, it's just impossible).


Anything that doesn't make sense to us is because of two reasons.

1) we don't WANT to understand and won't even TRY to understand Him because we are not ready to accept Him in our hearts or are scared of Him because we think that He is a punisher, 1 John 4:18 says that we shouldn't fear Him once we come to know Him because He is not a punisher).

2) we have found something that is not consistent with human thought (not unusual ("I speak to you in human terms because of your natural limitations...", Romans 6:19...).

It is a problem in HUMAN UNDERSTANDING. The "misunderstandings" are very obvious. God makes no attempt to hide these obvious "misunderstandings" from us. Neither does God ever patronize humanity by telling us how smart we are and that we should be able to make sense out of everything He says. He says that human nature is human folly (foolishness).

NO ONE can have an answer to everything in scripture, we can only hope to understand most of what is written, but if we have love in our heart (for God and our fellow human being), we won't let any of these misunderstandings come between ourselves and God (PERSONAL relationship with Jesus). If you truly love someone, you won't let anything come between the both of you, even if your faith falters because of misunderstanding or anything else (like Job, love never fails). That's the real message of God (the spiritual one). The LITERAL message is not the one that we should fuss about. Adam and Eve ate of the tree of conscience and we are to be able to stand before The Lord everyday with a clear conscience because we have learned from God's Holy Spirit to be righteous. We are to be transformed by the renewing of our MIND (Romans 12:2 and Luke 24:25),...there are many misunderstandings.
