Wow, that's one of the most worthwhile things I've read in quite a while. Thanks for posting it.

The idea of looking around in your dark corners for things you haven't forgiven yourself for can be amazingly valuable. I've been using EFT to lower the emotional intensity of many of my issues and find all kinds of things I've been sublimating all these years have been floating up to the surface. Again I use EFT on them to lessen their emotional impact, but at the end of the day, I'm able to see and understand my life so much more clearly.

Once the dark recesses have been (better) illuminated, I start not just thinking in terms of what the world and people have done to/for me, but what my influence on them has been to provoke actions I thought were unforgivable before. It's a fascinating journey that I don't think I would have been able to fully take without the aid of EFT. It helps make me better able to savor and reflect on my life instead of just running full speed ahead afraid of the mental boogeymen on the glance back.
