Hi there,

Yes - seems to be the cause is those damn birds. I lived in a townhouse and my bedroom was near a nest. I got a bad dose of the bird mites and they drove me nuts for about 8 weeks. They finally went.

Early last year- end of January I think- I had what I thought were bird lice again... however these things were biting but different and you couldn't see them. Everywhere there were small black dots... I ended up spending about $10 000 pulling up carpet, repainting etc. etc. the place was so clinical when I'd finished but the bites continued - becoming unbearable after sundown... sleep was a non issue and I frantically mopped and cleaned and washed and dried and sprayed ...... all to no avail. I ended up selling the place amd the new owners are happy - (must have good immune systems).

My new home I stripped completely back and and refurbished.... however my condition has mutated and now I am expelling filliments and granuel - never getting them all out it seems - don't sleep and are continually rubbing and coughing... I am still on the cycle of wash clean mop sterilize dry..... etc. etc.

I did have some respite when I went to my brother's place ... however when I went into his storage room where all my stuff is still in storage - I opened up the Pandora's box again and they have struck with vengence.

I am starting to believe that these filliments are folded over very small 'spiders' as I have seen some of them run across my arms - they are sooooo tiny!!!

The massage seems to really work but it exhausts you and you can't get to your back or other out of the way places.

I don't know of anyone else that has this affliction here in Queensland. I have done the rounds of the doctors - same story - and have now realized we are in this on our own - and we will be the pioneers that find a cure... and the cure may be a very simple one..

Let us know how long you've had 'morgellons' if you are able to work or not etc. etc.
