I have never heard anyone say to me anything about 72 virgins. I don't think there is any truth to that. Us Muslims believe The Holy Quran is Allah word and only Allah. It was sent by Allah and the Angel Gabriel revealed the Revalation to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). So no, The Holy Quran was not written by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Thank you.
