OK, how about this. If future and past are connected, then, would it be necessary for a person who wishes to peek into the future first need to have the ability to see the past ? Even the past which is unknown to them ?
Or, would they need to be able to see the future, before they would be able to see the past ?

More likely, in my view, they would need to be able to see the present, before they could see either the past or future.

I tend to see the future very regularly for quite some time, but cannot control it with the precision I would like; rather, it just comes when it wants to. There are no patches of the past associated with it, but rather only patches of the present. I do believe that he who controls the present, controls the past, and that he who controls the past, controls the future.
