Don't get me wrong with these posts. I do not think the typical low carb diets are healthy. A typical Adkins style diet contains tons of saturated fats, processed foods and what I would consider inadequate veggies.

Typical American store bought meat is not that great but that doesn't make all meat bad (unless you have a philisophical problem with it). How the animals are raised and treated makes a huge difference in how healthy the food is.

I guess this really isn't much different than comparing pesticide ridden, genetically modified veggies cooked in a microwave to raw, organic, natural veggies ;-)
