There are a lot of different ways of eating and everybody has to keep reading and find out for themselves what will work. I followed the Ayurveda bodytype eating according to Andreas Moritz , but he is a vegetarian. After reading the metabolic type eating I have added some meat back in and also found in other Ayurveda books what kind of meat my bodytype should have.
So you have to keep trying.
