You could practice and learn... there is a gardening forum here I believe. In addition, you could do the best you could with edible house plants and landscaping with what you do have. That is my next move... all plants inside and out will have value as food or medicine. Once that is accomplished, a good sized garden is planned.

I already sprout seeds indoors and have (do not own) available fruit trees that I harvest.
