OH don't say that....you do NOT sound weak...this is a very hard thing to go through! You are not going to fail. What ever your decision is ...it's not a failure....don't deal in absolutes....especially right now. What you need to do is live in the here and now to get through this. Your faith will help you with that. Have you ever heard of "the muck" it is mentioned in the Bible....it is MENTIONED to describe hell...you are wallowing in HIS muck. Your faith will pull you out of it. You are SUPPOSE to pull out of it...not be dragged in by it.(Listen to me babble and I'm not even a religious person!) WEll...I am, just not a traditional religious person....that's a whole other ball of wax though and it doesn't matter because I believe it is ALL THE SAME THING! Besides if you pulling yourself out just might be the only way for him to come out of it. It's all in the Bible....if I could remember which verse I would give it to you. It is described in one of the realms of hell verses...it talks about how the longer you wallow in the muck the harder it is to see past it, but basically if you keep your faith it will deliver you. AND that you MUST leave it when the time comes or you will not get another chance. Doesn't sound like leaving is a failure to your religion to me! :) And what if you save him in the process...one never knows....
