There have many opinions on CZ of why Candida conditions happen. Not to take anything away from Andreas, but the only thing I find really substantial in that piece is the bit about [acidic] waste accumulation- which is why normalizing the eliminations (bowel especially) is so important not only for this but pH balancing in general.

There are a lot of New-Age'ish, "health problems are due to karma/spiritual issues" sounding thoughts and theories flying and these are all good, but have yet to be proven. NOT TO SAY THEY'RE WRONG, there's just a general lack of proof. After making progress with my current anti-fungal regimen, my mood/emotions improved as well as physical symptoms. It started with me after a lengthy round of Antibiotics , and this is a strong commonality amongst sufferers. Being that there are and were no other variables other than just a change in supplementation and daily routine (for me)- the fundamental cause(s) of my health concerns certainly seem to be due to *physical* causes. It could be different for others however.
