You may be giving them far too much credit. The impression I got was of a youngster just off the apple truck having a slow night acting on a displaced desire to express themselves IE> regurgitating this past night's televised pep & propaganda rally mandating more troops, while casually parsing the casualty stats with a deranged notion of how to justify more death & destruction.... all from the safety and comfort of their keyboard.
