You ole sum'bitch you sure had me fooled with your profile pix  ;+D

DEWD!! I dig your music!! You ever come Atlanta way be sure and let us know! Folks round these here parts are fond or rockabilly roots stuff. The Star Bar is prolly the better known  rockabilly venue here in the Big A if your looking to book a gig here. The Earl is a more eclectic venue but they have certainly booked rockabilly bands there. Dunno if you're familiar with Unkown Hinson "The King of Country Music Troubadours"( he plays in texas often) but he was booked and the Earl and Star bar in the last coupla months. He's certainly more of a "act" but after all is said and done underneath the act he is one of the most amazing monster lectric country pickers I've ever heard.  He's on My Space czech him out.

As far as music writting heroes goes I see you put Lyle right up there and he's has been one of my faves form the git go. I love his story tellin' writting style where he can write about  something as an observer while still  being a part of the story. LOOOVE LYLE!!. Francine Reed who I'm sure you are familiar with from her collaborations in a number of Lyle's albums has been based here in Atl for a while now and plays around town quite  often.

I have done work in one capacity or another in most of the biggest recording studios here in the ATL. Though I do have a music background none of my associations with the studios is related to  being a musician but I do know many of the owners

Keep on truckin"

PS.
 Your CD available anywhere?

Dig Backtop. Nice flat pickin', fiddle and steel
