If your marriage is damaging to you emotionally/physically/spiritually and your husband refuses to acknowledge his abuse and seek help to change, it's time to leave (after 13 years I'm sure you've tried and he won't change now).

It's a huge change on all aspects of your life and once you leave you'll wonder if you did the right thing. It'll be difficult emotionally, financially... but stick with it. You're doing the right thing. There will be calm after the storm!! It's completely natural to be anxious/angry/depressed. Seek out support groups and loved ones in your area for help, especially emotionally.

You CAN leave if you truly want to!! Don't let anyone tell you differently than what your heart and soul are telling you. Honestly, can you see yourself living as your are now for another 5 years? 10 years? 15 years? 30 years?

Act now and get it over with!
