>- "stone" production seems to be direclty proportional to the amount of oil consumed with the flush

Not entirely. There are 2 types of stones. 1 the entirely green stone that you are speaking of is most likely a "soap stone" and while it is not a true gall stone, the production of these does have very positive benefits.

The other is the non-green core stone which is a small true gall stone surrounded by soap stone. These are the ones sought and each stone would need to be cut open to determine the actual constitution of the stone. The core can be small but will still be a true gall stone.

The reason that the green stones are also good is that the green color is from the removal of bile from the gall bladder and carried out of the body. If this were not removed as stone, it would be partially reabsorbed and converted to cholesterol.

If anyone is interested, they should have their cholesterol checked (preferably 3 times over 3 days) before flushing and then checked the same way again after doing one or several flushes.

Most people will notice a real difference in cholesterol levels after flushing.

I have heard this phrase before. Mostly about things that have since been refuted.
