I recently found out I have GERD. Or so I assume. My doctor gave me Protonix to try, which i've been taking for more than a week. My symptoms seem to be even worse now.

I noticed the symptoms a few months ago, but thought it was just indigestion. Now, i'm having episodes almost every other day, and they last for more than 8 hours at a time.

I am also diabetic. I stopped taking GlocophageXR more than 4 weeks ago now. I didnt have as many problems with the GERD while on that medication. My diabetes is under control, so I want to try and manage it w/out medication.

Any suggestions or help you can give I would greatly appreciate it. I would certainly like to try your method. I will follow it and let you know of my progress as well.
