Thank you very much for telling us about your son's problems and how you handle them. I printed it out to give our daughter to read. (She has a computer, but only at work, not at home.) Anyone else who has had a child or children with severe constipation problems are welcome to relate their stories here to give encouragement, guidance, experience, and support for others having these problems. They are certainly NOT fun! All parents should talk to their children about the importance of being regular and that the children should not 'hold' the BM at school or while playing outdoors because it causes impaction which makes them sick.
