A good many number of folks have used other fruit juices succesfully.  Also some folks dilute the OJ 50/50.

In my experience many folks that whine about the OJ have never tried it fresh made so thats another factor to consider. Usually fresh made juice does not taste half as acidic as the bottled, processed and reconstituted juices.
