wisdom
"Wisdom cannot be pass'd from one having it to another not having it. Wisdom is of the soul, is not susceptible of proof, is its own proof."
-Walt Whitman (1819-1892)
I have never looked at yoga but this was what popped up when I did a Google search as the first selection when I interpreted Walt Whitman's quote;
I Googled: truth changes with peception

What is even more interesting is that I spelled perception wrong or it would have changed the whole thing
"Mr Iyengar once said that the truth changes, bringing much consternation to our Western minds which crave rational certainty; we only see what our experience permits us to see, so yoga develops our faculties of perception."

Something I have learned is that there is nothing by chance... We planned it out before time began then set the plan into motion...much like a chemist mixes her batch of chemicals and watches the reaction that she knows will occur...she still she watches as an observer because even though she knows what will happen in the end...her perception is more than just the end result of the chemical reaction... As a scientist one makes multiple hypotheses from one hypothesis...At every point through the process, we have opportunities to learn something new and what was once true can often change through the process of our observations...
What good does it do to learn the truth that we are evil unless there is redemption? This is where the spiritual chemist goes back and finds a way to add hope to the equation. Hope is not true or false but somehow hope is what survives when truth dies.
What my Near Death Experience gave me was a changed spiritual perception. The wisdom of this world was nothing...
