Curlyzone -
Ironically, I have the brand you used to use - North American Herb and Spice. I've had major peeling which usually occurs the day after. After showering it calms down. I use emu oil and oil of oregano. Emu oil for daytime and oil of oregano before bedtime. The oil of oregano is really strong. I definitely will take you up on your offer to dilute it. The first time I applied it, the heat sensation was unbelievable. It now has a cool, minty type of feel on the skin. I've had no bad reaction from either to date. The patches I have are rough, almost leathery in feel but I see slight traces of my skin again, slowly but surely. FYI: I used to use tea tree oil not only to soothe but as a body moisturizer. I had to stop because it made my eczema worse. I learned that tea tree oil is an astringent so it can produce bad reactions in some cases. I suppose it depends on the tolerance of the individual. I also used to use Nature's gate but had irritation from it. Can you tell me more about that probiotic you are using? Can it be purchased in a store or online? Was curious to know how long you use a product in general before switching to something else. What made you stop using oil of oregano? You have some good suggestions. I've always had a bad diet - which I guess has finally caught up to me now. To date, I've cut out sweets and processed foods, have been eating more greens, more fruits quite a bit lately. Lots of chicken and fish, occasionally beef. Any good and thorough healing takes time. I don't expect miracles overnight. You mentioned colon cleansing? I take Barley Life and Herbal Fiberblend daily which helps with elimination. How did you learn about milk thistle? Are you a long-time sufferer of eczema? For me, 4 years and counting. Let me know your thoughts. If you don't mind, could you share any web resources you use to find information? I'm always looking for something new. Not to mention a site, if applicable, that stays updated regularly. Thanks again!!
