Wow, that is perplexing. Personally, I want to doubt that it is the CS causing the twitching, but your timeline tells us something [where it started up when using CS].
I like the die-off idea...
i also have that twitching in my legs, have had it formany years. Sometimes it is 'calf-cramps' with toes curled down and bad pain, and sometimes it is huge jerks, just in the legs and often the whole body more than legs.
i think it is neurological, not mineral deficency - thats just the first and most obvious place to look, the most common cause is calcium deficiency. Were you exposed to any toxins in that time period? Maybe the die-off has toxic qualities to it , or even just the waste products of the dying pathogns.
Also - how are your teeth? Dental infections can cause all sorts of muscle twitches, something I know from personal experience. [once I had my teeth removed, all of them, those twitches were greately reduced - the remainder is possibly from cavitation infection or something.]
