Even if Burroughs sold the "rights" of The Master Cleanse to someone in Europe (which I don't accept based on one person's claim), the book itself remains in Burroughs or Burroughs' estate control unless he sold off the copyright to the book. Which doesn't sound like he did, since the blurb refers only to Europe.
