What's your source for this statistic?

"Because your friends seem fine is not scientific and is not a study."
And neither is your entire post.  I'm still looking for the science behind these passionate beliefs.  I'm sure there are good studies, but i don't know where to go to get them.  There's a ton of fluff on the internet, butit seems mostly unscientific and skewed by emotions.   All I'm getting here is a bunch of  "Canada and Sweden are doing it so it must be right."

"That lots of people for a long time have had amalgams is not scientific reasoning nor is it proof of anything."  I agree this is not science, but I still think it's the most difficult point to dispute.  How do you explain it?

"Every year more and more dentists are becoming holistic and practicing mercury-free dentistry. Why do you think this is?"  It's because they make MORE money from composite than amalgams.  Amalgams are dirt cheap, but composites are much more expensive.  Sounds like a pretty good business model to help spread the fear and misinformation.
