13738, you have suffered many difficulties, I feel for you. the best gift you could give yourself is counseling, find a therapist you really like, one that is affordable, within your budget, interview the therapist and ask them if they can help you cope with your losses and with your sister. then stick with therapy, it will be the best investment you ever make, better then any new car or vacation.
along with a counselor that you like you would give yourself another gift if you looked into support groups, there are many support groups that meet all over the usa and some are online.
to understand and overcome the effects of an alcoholic parent look into ACOA, Adult Children of Alcoholics, 12 step support group, they are all over usa and can be accessed by doing an online search of ACOA in your state or area for contact and meeting times.
