I am just curious to know what testing did you have done to know your progesterone was low? I am a frequent Mirena IUD forum girl and I, have suffered numerous side affects from this but the worst right now is the insomnia. I spoke with my Dr. this morning because my mind and body are breaking down and he prescribed Trazadone. It is supposed to make me drowsy and help balance me I guess. I think the anxiety would fade away if my body would regulate and I got some sleep but nothing seems to work. My mind just doesn't stop, I've tried Benadryl, Ambien, and I'll sleep 2 hours, very light sleep then I'm wide awake again, and I have a very hard time falling asleep. HELP!
