You have given me something to think about.

As you say, "...Language can be tricky here..."

Maybe what we are referring to as "Joint Consciousness" is more just a temporary agreement to accept each others' energy at face value...as it appears to be.

You call it, "Holding the Space" and mention that, through exercises, we may quiet our personal thoughts to the degree that we "...Channel the source that has nothing to do with us but our intent."

You go on to say, "I can diagnose because in this state I can feel the 'other's' body parts in my own - I feel their pain and the areas that need help - here's the part that suprised me at first - I do nothing but intend then hold the space of neutrality and let it go when the 'other' is ready to release."


I really do need to think this over. Will you forgive me if I 'sleep on it'?

Okay...I don't know any reply to your experience, since I have not felt it.

I think I might question the advisability of allowing another to influence my body in any way. Probably I'd need some evidence of the 'rightness' of it...some sign within myself, separate from the leaders and the client. But that is my way.

More than that, I am learning to rely on single words for my own effectiveness.

A few days ago I noticed a nice 'quietness' or 'stillness' upon laying down to sleep...no noisy 'quack quack' at all.

The 'quietness'/'stillness' stayed with me for about 24 hours. Perhaps this is related to the 'Space' you speak of. However, it was only me and my intention to be clear, and find solutions to my questions, wherever those solutions might lie...a kind of 'openess' to truth.

Like I say, I am not a 'healer' in the same sense as yourself and others who have studied.

I hope this explanation of my way is useful to you, somehow.

For me it is about holding the space not joint consciousness but language can be tricky here but why I am not a fan of the joint consciouness is we have this with our own personalities in operation- that is the connection that we can make with others is possible with all the personality stuff still quack quacking away.

When a space is held for someone you clear your own quackedity quack and if you have a good healer teaching you he can hold the space for the whole room (Richard and Mark of Matrix Energetics, and Guru Dev of Sat Nam Rayasan-who I have the most experience with) Man he just kept taking the temperature of our crap thoughts and kept us doing asanas until we gave up the stuff and could actually channel the source that has nothing to do with us but our intent.

I can feel the release in my own body part when the other releases
(We are all one, alright!)

This had me so lite up at first the power of our true nature to heal, I imagine Jesus was a master of this and I know a few others that I have blogged about in the past.

Here is the beauty and beauty it is you may not heal others with a crappy channel all mucked up you will heal yourself while you heal others..

You cannot be a healer unless you can drop your own crap for long enough to heal yourself and the "other"

It may not make sense- but I have never flet so unimportant and so much god as when I practice Sat Nam Rayasan

Guru Dev still teaches...Sometimes to an class as small as 25 people, with Mark and Richard there were 100 and still they held the space for that room like no one I have ever felt before..
Oh incase its not obvious I am a "feeler" I am physical...well enough
Some "see" the healing although they hold the space also also
a channel of energy that can be big as a block high as crusing altitude of a jumbo jet- but is more managable/concentrated as a size of the immediate area that the patient and you occupy-

But for Richard and Mark- they can hold a 100 people easily...
