i gave up using my old shampoo and conditioner (redken) after reading the Hulda Clark book. i started using aloe shampoo and i plan to start making my own shampoo in the future when i get round to it that is!

my question is about the build up that i can feel on my hair from using shampoo. after i started oil pulling for some reason i started noticing it a lot more. at the moment i use 50/50 distilled malt vinegar/water rinse and it gets rid of it great and makes my hair so shiny and soft.

i was wondering though, if there are any natural shampoos that dont leave this build up on your hair, or if the only solution is to make your own?

also, does anyone know of any natural ways to protect hair from the heat of hair straighteners? im hoping to give them up when my hair grows out enough to get a good style cut into it but till then i still need them!!!
