One note of caution, some people interested in kundalini are
>>travelling a path of less integrity where they are mainly
>>interested in tantra from a sexual aspect (not that there is
>>anything implicityly wrong with sex or sexual practice as a minor
>>part of a balanced tantric practice). However some people are
>>attracted to kundalini practices as a way to have sexual power over
>>others or to exploit the naive (or are unready themselves to really
>>manage kundalini energy on the heart level). Even an unbalanced
>>awakened kundalini or kundalini used to destructive ends can make
>>someone appear very attractive and charismatic to those who aren't
>>aware of what the energy is. For this reason one should always seek
>>out an experienced teacher who truly has the best interest of the
>>student at heart, and who does not seek to gain power over or
>>exploit the student sexually, emotionally or spiritually. A
>>"teacher" who is too emotionally engaged with a student will not
>>have the clarity and distance to be able to separate their own
>>desires from what is best for the student. This can be very
>>destructive for all involved. Finally, listen to your own intuition
>>and don't allow your desires for what you wish to be true to be
>>cloud your perception of what truly is.
