Well I know I don't have to go through the whole fallen world story because I am sure you have already heard about the fallen world we live in. Its not perfect by any means and never will be as to the reason it will eventually be destroyed one day. We all long for a perfect world with no sickness, disease, natural disasters, global warming, nuclear threats, crime , hate but man has brought much of this on himself in the way he has taken care of the earth and his response to the one who made it. Now many people don't believe in God or the God of the bible and that is totally their choice, they do indeed have that right. But my own belief is many things happen that we can not deal with to get our attention ( a warning we are destroying ourselves). As for our physical problems even the worlds best scientists and doctors can't fix the problems so lack of worldy wisdom or education is not the problem. In all our worldy wisdom we cannot fix our problems, that is easy to see as we look at our world today in all areas of life. God I believe is much stricter On those who say they are his if they misrepresent him and truly are his but caught in a error to bring them back in line, Words can either bring life or death and if a forked tongue is a problem or weakness, the words they speak could prove to work to their disadvantage and yes to get their attention but I do not know what you consider a forked tongue so I am not standing to judge on this. I only assume you mean talking Love but lashing out. Truth??? Aside from God??? I don't know of any truth aside from him. The truth we seek is the world with no sickness , no crime, no hate etc... This world according to God is full of sin and the devil is the ruler of it. God says he will destroy this one and make a new one where sin and devil are not a part of. This is the truth we seek. These are the problems we want to be rid of. Thats why my belief is that truth is a person. I am sorry I can't give you a truth answer based on reality but this is my reality. I don't see the world ever been rid of problems, DO you?? Many would say and think I live in fairyland but they don't have the answers to all the problems either. As far as any christian being sick I couldn't possible answer the why to all the reasons that it could be because I have seen some be healed through prayer alone and some not healed. The question as to why some were is just as important as why some weren't. Only God knows why and maybe the person who is affected by it.
